Boost Systems, which develops Human External Cargo (HEC) Systems and Personnel Carrying Device Systems, and related Training Services, sold a Boost HEC System to HeliStream during the mid-November HAI Aerial Work Safety Conference in Boise, Idaho.

“Working with Boost to equip our fleet with the safest HEC Systems in the industry was an easy decision,” said Rod Anderson, director of operations at HeliStream. “We are proud that the name HeliStream is synonymous with superior service and safety.”

Boost Systems offers a line of TCCA, FAA, CAAC, ANAC, and EASA certified HEC systems for a range of helicopter models and fully compliant accessories, including HEC dual hook systems, approved Personnel Carrying Device Systems, and Boost Systems’ Generation II HEC Suspension Lines. Boost Systems also provides related training for HEC operations.

“This is the third Boost HEC system that HeliStream will be operating on their Bell mediums,” said Jeff Yarnold, vice president of operations at Boost. “They are just completing the installation on the first Bell 412EPX to be used in the United States utility industry.”
